We hit a little bit of a rocky road this weekend, when one of our datacentre switches began to display some pretty abnormal behaviour. Staying out late at night, not telling us where it was going, that type of thing.
It’s now been swapped out, so hopefully the minor issues experienced at the weekend have been banished. Thanks to all for your consideration.

As many early testers have realised, Stripe is currently not supported on iPhone. And we’re sorry, but we can’t make any specific response regarding future support of that handset.
The iPhone 3G was only made available to Australian consumers on 11 July 2008, and developers have had extremely limited access to development resources.
It’s probably not the support statement you were hoping for: but we hope that as early testers, you all have the opportunity to experience Stripe on another 3G handset.

Over the past year Glenn Wheatley’s new business Stripe has signed licensing deals with music companies Sony BMG, Warner Music, EMI, Universal and Shock Records, plus smaller specialised firms such as Ministry of Sound and Central Station.
You can read the full article here. Our Program Director, Jarrod Graetz, has been working hard on building a fantastic music strategy for Stripe and all our stations.

A few of our listeners have reported some minor issues with the Stripe Radio: they noticed that sometimes a double-click of a station name is needed to start it playing, or that sometimes the “Now Playing” information doesn’t display.
Rest assured that we’re aware of these inconsistencies: and that a new, redesigned, player is coming soon. The new player irons out a few wrinkles, and gives a much stronger visual identity to the radio experience.
